treatments

CabinetWhite drainage
Treatment of cavities
and roots

Treatment of cavities and roots is essential to eliminate pain and restore tooth structure. When a cavity is deep and affects the nerve of the tooth (the dental pulp), it is necessary to devitalize it. This treatment, also known as pulpectomy, involves removing infected pulp tissue, cleaning and disinfecting the root canals, then sealing them with specific materials to prevent future infection.

CabinetWhite couronne
Crowns, ceramic Inlays/Onlays
and dental veneers

Ceramic crowns, inlays/onlays and dental veneers are effective solutions for repairing or beautifying a damaged smile. Inlays and onlays are custom-made restorations that replace missing parts of the tooth. Crowns completely cover the weakened tooth, protecting it and restoring its functionality. Dental veneers are thin layers of ceramic applied to the visible surface of teeth to enhance their aesthetic appearance.

Splints
anti-bruxism

Anti-bruxism splints are designed to protect teeth against the effects of bruxism, which is the involuntary grinding or clenching of teeth, mainly during sleep. These devices absorb the shock of bruxism, preventing premature tooth wear, mandibular pain and associated headaches.

Splints against
sleep apnea

Sleep apnea splints, also known as mandibular advancement orthoses, are used to treat mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea. They slightly advance the lower jaw, keeping the airway open during sleep, reducing breathing interruptions and improving sleep quality.

did you know ?

What is the CEREC system ?

The CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) system is a revolutionary technology that enables dental restorations to be designed, fabricated and fitted in a single visit. Using a digital camera, the tooth is precisely scanned to create a 3D image. This model is then used to design a restoration, such as a crown, veneer or inlay, which is immediately fabricated on site using a computer-assisted milling unit. This system offers a number of advantages: considerable time savings, fewer appointments, exceptional precision and the use of high-quality materials such as ceramics, which combine durability with natural aesthetics.

What is an inlay or onlay ?

Inlays and onlays are tailor-made dental restoration solutions designed to repair damaged teeth while preserving their natural structure. An inlay is used to fill a cavity inside the tooth, while an onlay extends over one or more cusps (prominent parts) of the tooth. These restorations are fabricated in the laboratory or directly in the practice using the CEREC system. Unlike traditional fillings, inlays and onlays offer superior esthetics thanks to their ceramic or composite finish, which perfectly mimics the natural shade of the teeth. In addition to being strong and durable, they are ideal for restoring teeth while minimizing the risk of wear or re-fracture.

Are anti-bruxism splints effective ?

Yes, anti-bruxism splints are a highly effective solution for protecting your teeth against damage caused by excessive grinding or clenching (bruxism). These made-to-measure trays adapt perfectly to your teeth and act as a protective barrier, reducing wear on the enamel and preventing tooth fractures. They also relieve muscle tension in the jaw, reducing the facial and neck pain often associated with bruxism. By wearing this splint at night, you not only maintain the health of your teeth, but also the long-term comfort of your jaw. Your dentist will also be able to adjust your treatment according to the intensity of your bruxism and your specific needs.

Can I replace my fillings with more aesthetic materials ?

Absolutely. Amalgam fillings, although functional, can be replaced by modern, aesthetic solutions in composite or ceramic. These materials are designed to blend perfectly with the natural shade of your teeth, making the restoration virtually invisible. In addition to their aesthetic advantages, these new materials are also more respectful of dental tissue and offer comparable resistance to old amalgams. Replacing old or damaged fillings is particularly recommended if you want to improve the appearance of your smile or enhance the durability of your restorations. Thanks to the CEREC system, these replacements can even be carried out in a single session.
