Fixed prostheses

Fixed dental prostheses offer a permanent, aesthetic solution for replacing missing teeth. Permanently fixed, they reproduce the appearance and function of natural teeth, offering comfort and stability.

Conventional removable prostheses

Conventional removable dentures are appliances that can be removed by the patient for cleaning or rest. They are a practical option for replacing several missing teeth, especially when conditions do not allow fixed prostheses to be fitted.

Hybrid prostheses on implants

Hybrid prostheses on implants, such as snap-on prostheses, combine the advantages of fixed and removable prostheses. Attached to dental implants, they offer excellent stability while allowing easy removal for maintenance, providing an ideal compromise between comfort and flexibility.

Specific prostheses

Specific prostheses, such as stellites or ceramic All-on-4 prostheses, are designed to meet specific aesthetic and functional needs. Stellites are removable partial dentures with a metal structure, offering lightness and strength. The All-on-4 technique allows a fixed full denture to be supported on just four implants, offering an effective solution for edentulous patients.

How do I care for my dentures ?

Maintenance depends on the type of denture :

  • Fixed dentures require regular brushing and the use of dental floss or interdental brushes to prevent plaque build-up.
  • Removable dentures need to be cleaned daily with specific products to remove food residues and prevent infection. Regular dental check-ups are also recommended to ensure their durability.

Are implant-supported prostheses painful ?

No, an implant-supported prosthesis is fitted under local or general anaesthesia, which makes the procedure painless. After the operation, painkillers are prescribed to relieve any discomfort. Once the prosthesis has been fitted, most patients adapt quickly and appreciate the comfort it provides.

What is "All-on-4" technology ?

With All-on-4 technology, a complete prosthesis is placed on just four dental implants. It’s a fast, effective solution for replacing a full arch of teeth, particularly for patients with moderate bone loss. This technique reduces treatment time while offering exceptional stability and an impressive aesthetic result.

What's the difference between fixed and removable prostheses ?

A fixed prosthesis, such as a crown or bridge, is permanently anchored to teeth or implants. It offers maximum stability and esthetics. A removable prosthesis, on the other hand, can be removed for cleaning or rest. They are often chosen for economic reasons, or in cases where supporting teeth are missing. Both types of prosthesis are designed to improve mastication, phonation and aesthetics.
