A team of anaesthetists from the Swiss Medical Association and certified nurses ensure your safety throughout the procedure. After a preliminary assessment, you will be taken care of in our modern facilities. During the treatment, you will be plunged into a deep sleep and monitored continuously. You will wake up quickly and be able to return home the same day.

CabinetWhite Accueil Pedodontie
PEDODONTICS

For dental health from an early age

All of our clinics have a dedicated area for children. We offer a range of dental care and treatment for younger patients : pedodontics, anaesthesia with MEOPA, orthodontics, as well as hygiene advice and prevention.

For cases requiring more complex procedures, or when children are particularly anxious, our Montreux and Delémont clinics offer the possibility of carrying out treatments under general anaesthetic, in partnership with the MAC company. This protocol allows major dental pathologies to be treated safely and effectively, in a setting that is reassuring for both the child and the parents.

What should I do in case of dental emergency ?

In case of a dental emergency, such as a broken tooth, intense pain or swelling, it’s important to act quickly. Gently rinse your mouth with warm water and, if necessary, apply a cold compress to reduce inflammation. Avoid touching or moving the affected area.

Every White clinics have an emergency service so that you can receive fast and effective treatment for your problem. Don’t wait, call the nearest White clinic.

When should children start seeing a dentist ?

Children should see a dentist for the first time before their first birthday or as soon as their first tooth appears, usually around 6 months. This early visit allows the dentist to check the growth and development of the teeth, identify any problems and advise parents on good oral hygiene practices. It is then advisable to schedule regular visits every 6 months to monitor the development of milk teeth and prevent cavities. Getting children used to going to the dentist from an early age contributes to their long-term oral health.

How can I prevent cavities and gum disease ?

To prevent cavities and gum disease, practise good oral hygiene :

  • Brush your teeth twice a day with a fluoride toothpaste.
  • Use dental floss or interdental brushes every day.
  • Visit your dentist every 6 months for professional check-ups and cleanings.

A healthy lifestyle, combined with these gestures, contributes to a healthy mouth.

How often should I see a dentist for a routine check-up ?

It is generally recommended that you see a dentist twice a year, every six months for a routine check-up and professional cleaning. This frequency is suitable for most people and helps detect early oral problems (such as cavities or gum disease), remove plaque and tartar that brushing and flossing cannot completely remove, and maintain the overall health of your mouth and teeth.
